SEPS is an innovative minimally invasive approach for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency or leg ulcers . This procedure addresses the underlying cause of leg ulcers & chronic skin changes of the legs. It enables the ulcers to heal faster in a relatively short period of time and reduces the chance of developing new ulcers.

The procedure is performed through one or two small incisions below the knee away from the ulcer area. A camera is inserted under the skin, the diseased veins (perforators) are visualized on a TV screen and disconnected. Any existing varicose veins are treated prior to or at the same time of SEPS.
